Now, what about this famous question nowadays, “How to get on the first page of Google in 24 hours?” Can it be done? Is it logical? Or, is it some more SEO Bullshit!
The REAL SEO Bullshit:
How to get on the first page of Google in 24 hours?
Well, the short and honest answer is “YOU CANNOT!” Of course, we have to decide what are the parameters of being on the First Page of Google. For example, if you have an e-commerce website and have some very unique products and product names that no other business has in stock or have very little competition. You might rank on the first page ONLY IF that person types in the very specific name of the product. But, I am referring too if a person types in broad keywords or long-tail keywords, are you going to rank in 24 hours. Probably not!
One, we have to remember, if you have a new website, it might take around 6-months to start ranking on Google, and I’m not talking about first page rankings. It takes time to propagate our website or business in the search engines. Especially, when we are talking about keywords. Plus, the competition is more fierce nowadays.
Below is a Realistic Timeline for Ranking
- New Website: Around 6 months with persistent work.
- Low-Authority Keywords: Around 3-4 months with persistent work.
- High Authority Keywords: Around 1 year with persistent work.
The Broader the word, the HARDER it’s going to be to rank. Not Impossible, but will take some persistent and consistent work.
First Page of Google: Be Persistent & Consistent
There’s a lot of factors that takes into account when trying to rank a website on Google. A lot matter of fact, more than 200 plus ranking factors but the main one in my opinion is stated above in the picture.
YOU HAVE TO BE PERSISTENT!!!
Several years ago, I had all my websites (at the time) on the 1st Page of Google. I even had friends call me and ask “What was I doing? How was I doing it?” One of my good friends even stated, “Any company would pay you anything you want!”
You want to know what I learned? Probably not but I will tell you any way…lol.
A couple of years ago, I went through a pretty bad break-up. I was depressed and stopped all my websites and businesses. Some of my websites went down as I had them on paying platforms, while the others just remained online – being neglected.
What happened? I lost ranking. I lost it severely.
Why???
Because one of Google’s key ranking factors is current and consistent content. Are you keeping your website current and up-to-date. This is the main reason huge Brands always change their website every six months or so. Or, even changing it for holiday themes. They are doing it for a reason…
I learned the hard way. You have to be consistent and persistent over time! AND STAY PERSISTENT.
Lastly…
In the next few weeks, I will be putting together a Google Masterclass to help get your website ranked and the key factors involved. I am working on it as I write this article…lol. But, it takes a little time. So, stay tuned. It will be coming shortly.
